When she was very young she felt bad for the street children’s and women who were treated as burden on society.”

She addresses education and awareness a concrete substance in building block of society. She believes the change in society begins with individual effort, and if your cause is good people will automatically connect.

Born in Varanasi to a reputed family, she was brought-up in luxury and comfort, however, this never disguised her strong thought to contribute towards society – women and children welfare and their upliftment.

Gender discrimination and poverty have been plaguing our society since times unknown and woman and children always seem to stand on the front lines of victimisation. Under privilege gives rise to lack of education and awareness which ultimately results in crime and oppression.

OUR MISSION

In our country of 1.3 billion, women and children constitute almost two-thirds of the entire population. Yet, this section is among the most underprivileged, traumatised and neglected. This is true across all forms of civilisation, be it rural or urban, the only difference being in the number of victims.

HINDUSTAN KI AWAJ

Introduced with an aim to give voice to the youth of country Being most influential, passionate and ardent in nature, young generation contributes to the Hindustan ki awaj - this section of society owes a tremendous power to transform the society to lead a concrete foundation.

MAHILA SASHAKTIKARAN KENDRA

The foremost aim of this initiative is to provide a livelihood to women by empowering their mental and physical strength to bring the best out of their skills and hobby.We aim to create a violence-free, gender-just society through social research, capacity building and advocacy.

GYANSHALA

Imparting education to every child must be the foremost priority concern, and it should be immaterial from where the child belongs to or come from.“Census of India pegged average literacy rate to be 74.4% in 2011 while National Statistical Commission surveyed literacy to be 77.7% in 2017–18”, which is very marginal growth.

ANNAPURNA KENDRA

Dulari Devi Foundation Presents Annapurna Kendra, where weaker section of society receives food on monthly basis to fight against hunger Primary Motive of this Initiative is to provide food to each and every people, no one should be left to die due to hunger. India, one of the world's largest food producers ranked 103 among 119 countries in the 2018 Global Hunger Index, with 14.5 percent of the population undernourished.

MATRATVA POSHAN ABHIYAAN

In India 44% of children under the age of 5 are underweight. 72% of infants and 52% of married women have anaemia,Research has conclusively shown that malnutrition during pregnancy causes the child to have increased risk of future diseases, physical retardation and reduced cognitive abilities. Almost 63 per cent of pregnant women in rural India work right until the day of delivery. And, 49 per cent say they felt exhausted during pregnancy, due to lack of food and rest .

KATRANKALAA

One of the most imperative initiative katarn kalaa aims at Dulari Devi Foundation is to make women independent prodding their skills. As we know independence has been a constant question for women, thus our initiative Kataran kala emphasis making women self-dependent, building their self-confidence, reducing gender discrimination, and raising their stature within their families and in society at large.
