Saziya Parween is an academically gifted student from an underprivileged family in Munger district, Bihar. From a young age, she dreamed of becoming an administrative officer in a Public Sector Undertaking (PSU).
Her father, an automobile mechanic, worked tirelessly to support a family of six children—four sons and two daughters—making it difficult to provide quality education for everyone.
Recognizing Saziya's exceptional talent and unwavering determination, DDF welcomed her into its Education Initiative Program. With the foundation's support, she is pursuing computer education while simultaneously preparing for various competitive examinations.

Lalita Dana is a living example of the saying, "Where there's a will, there's a way." She belongs to the Almora district and was raised by her uncle, a nurseryman in the Forest Department, after the tragic loss of both her parents.
Her life took a positive turn when she met Preeti Pandey, Director of DDF, who is deeply committed to empowering underprivileged children through education. During a conversation, Lalita shared her dream of continuing her studies but explained that financial hardships stood in her way.
Touched by her determination and passion for learning, Preeti Pandey enrolled Lalita under DDF's Free Education Initiative. The foundation took full responsibility for her education and supported her throughout her academic journey.
After successfully completing her Class 12 education, Lalita pursued nursing training at the prestigious Pal Medical College, Almora. Today, she proudly serves as a nurse at a reputed hospital in Haldwani, proving that determination, combined with the right support, can transform lives.
